Joe Minami has a diverse work experience in product design and UX/UI design. Joe is currently working as a Product Design Lead at Jane Technologies, Inc. Joe previously worked at Cash App as a Product Designer, where they played a key role in transforming the P2P payment app into a comprehensive financial product with 50 million monthly active users. Prior to that, they were a Product Design Lead at Troops, a Slack-funded startup that focused on automating workflows for sales activities in Salesforce within the Slack platform, which was later acquired by Salesforce. Joe also worked at Square as a Senior Product Designer, where they helped establish the design framework for Square's products, including Square Market, Square Pickup, Square Order, and Caviar. Joe started their career as a Senior UX Designer at 80/20, a user-centered design studio, and worked on various projects, including a conceptual vision prototype and mobile apps. Joe also gained experience as a Visual Designer at Method and AKQA, and as a Web Designer at the United Nations.

Joe Minami has a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Design and Technology from Parsons School of Design - The New School. Joe also holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Environmental Design from the same institution.
