Sam Wells is a seasoned Senior Software Engineer with extensive experience in backend development and system migration. Currently at Jane.app since November 2022, Sam spearheads the migration of the backend-for-frontend API to a RESTful Java Spring Boot service, collaborating across teams to enhance API contracts. Previously at Freetrade, contributions included improving onboarding processes and refining user referral systems during European expansion as the first backend engineer in the Vancouver team. Sam's tenure at Just Eat Takeaway.com involved maintaining dispersed backend systems with a focus on C# .Net Core and AWS messaging services. Commencing as a Software Engineer Intern at ehabitation, Sam developed a cross-platform web application. Sam holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of East Anglia.
