Claude Vessaz is a seasoned software developer with extensive experience in backend engineering and cloud technologies. Currently serving as a Staff Software Developer at Jane.app since November 2022, Claude previously held prominent roles at Hootsuite, including Staff Developer and Senior Developer from September 2019 to November 2022. Prior to that, a significant tenure at Safe Software spanned from June 2012 to June 2019, where Claude worked as a Senior Backend Web Engineer and a DevOps Engineer on the Cloud Team, as well as gaining experience as a GIS Intern. Earlier experience includes a Research Assistant position at ETH Zurich in early 2012 and an internship at Mappuls AG from September 2009 to September 2010. Claude Vessaz holds both a Master's degree and a Bachelor's degree in Geomatic Engineering and Planning, earned at ETH Zurich from 2010 to 2012 and from 2006 to 2009, respectively.
