Álvaro Martín Callejas Herrera has a diverse work experience. Álvaro Martín currently works at Jalasoft as a Staff Software Engineer since July 2021. Prior to this role, they held the position of Junior Software Developer at the same company from March 2019 to August 2021. In this role, they worked as a full-stack developer in Scrum-based teams, designing and implementing client-requested features. Álvaro Martín also managed the Kaspersky Security Center tool and operated Websense TRITON.

Prior to that, Álvaro worked as an Auxiliar Informático at CEPIES (Centro Psicopedagógico y de Investigación en Educación Superior), UMSA from September 2014 to April 2015. Álvaro Martín provided technical support in hardware and software, installed and maintained networks, and administered internal computer systems.

Álvaro's work experience also includes being an Auxiliar de Docencia Titular at Carrera de Informática, UMSA from March 2013 to December 2014. In this role, they taught theoretical and laboratory classes on Data Structures and Algorithms. Álvaro Martín also programmed applications using Java, JavaFX, and C#.

Álvaro Martín Callejas Herrera completed a Bachelor's degree in Informática at the Universidad Mayor de San Andrés from 2009 to 2018. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachillerato in Humanidades from Colegio San Antonio de Padua in 2008. In 2016 and 2017, they pursued a Diplomatura in Sistemas de Comunicaciones Satelitales at the Universidad Mayor de San Andrés. Additionally, they have a certification in Try Git from Code School.
