Anssi Kumpula has worked in a variety of roles since 2000. Anssi began their career at Kaaritaivutus Kumpula Oy / Power Shaping as a Technical Professional. In 2003, they worked as a Salesman for both A-lehdet Oy and Etelä-Pohjanmaan Osuuskauppa. From 2005-2007, they were a Part-time Teacher at the University of Vaasa. From 2007-2013, they worked as an Independent Photographer and Graphic Designer for JohnLatviaWorksHere. In 2014, they began working as a Graphic Designer for Jakamo, and from 2013-present, they have been a Graphic Designer for Aluekehittämisen konsulttitoimisto MDI, where they are responsible for page layouts in publications, brochures and marketing materials, and documentary photography in events.

Anssi Kumpula began their educational journey in 2003 when they obtained a Master of Science in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Vaasa. In 2005, they attended Univerza v Mariboru for a year to study Graphic Design. In 2008, they attended the Universidad de Ciencias Empresariales y Sociales for a short period to study Graphic Design and Photography.
