W. Kent Hedges, PMP, CHC, LCI-CPC, is an experienced project director currently overseeing the Core & Shell Project for the new Dallas Children's Hospital at Jacobs since January 2025. Previously, Hedges held the role of Project Executive for Large Capital Projects and Design Integration at Medxcel Facilities Management and served as Program Manager at Planate Management Group LLC, where oversight included large infrastructure construction operations in Afghanistan. Hedges has extensive knowledge of healthcare construction methods from tenure as a Senior Regional Project Manager at UHS. As President of Hedges Resources, LLC, business development consulting focused on connecting projects with resources across various sectors. Additional roles include business development at Kiewit Texas Construction and client account management at Kleinfelder, where significant project management experience was gained in the power and renewable energy sectors. Hedges began a distinguished career as a Civil Engineer in the US Navy, managing major construction programs and serving aboard naval vessels. Hedges holds a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Southern California.
