Winova Mayer has over 20 years of experience working for the Jacksonville Transportation Authority. Winova started their career in 1999 as a Marketing Planner and then moved on to various roles within the organization. From 2000 to 2003, they served as a Public Involvement Coordinator, followed by a promotion to Public Relations Specialist from 2003 to 2007. Winova then transitioned to the role of Strategic Planning Communications and Outreach Coordinator from 2007 to 2013. Afterward, they took on the position of Communications Project Coordinator, where they remained until their most recent role as Senior Marketing and Communications Coordinator, which they started in December 2018.

Winova Mayer obtained a Master's Degree in Marketing from American InterContinental University in 2011. Winova also holds a Bachelor's Degree from Florida State University, but the field of study is unspecified.
