Justin Sievert is an accomplished legal professional specializing in sports law and corporate transactions. Currently serving as Vice President and General Counsel for the Jacksonville Jaguars since November 2021, Justin previously held the position of Attorney and Chair of the Sports and Gaming Practice at Vela Wood. With extensive experience representing major sports franchises in commercial agreements and marketing initiatives, Justin has also imparted knowledge as an adjunct professor at multiple universities, teaching subjects related to sports law and compliance. As the founder and managing partner of Sievert Werly, Justin provided legal representation to various sports entities and businesses on regulatory issues. Justin's legal career includes significant roles in other firms, focusing on NCAA compliance, Title IX, and contract negotiation. Justin earned a J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law and holds multiple degrees in education, political science, and history.
