Kim Hardcastle has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and industries. Kim started their career as an Account Executive at Maizie Hale Public Relations in 1996 and worked there until 1998. Kim then moved on to communications 21, where they served as the Vice President of Marketing from 1998 to 2006. Following that, they joined Novare Group as the Marketing Director from 2006 to 2008. Kim then became the West Coast Office Lead at Jackson Spalding in 2008. Most recently, they worked as a Chief Member at Chief, a private network focused on empowering senior women leaders in 2021.

Kim Hardcastle attended The University of Georgia from 1989 to 1993, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a major in Marketing and a minor in French. In addition to their general education, they also completed their degree at the University of Georgia - Terry College of Business.
