Elise Courtois has extensive experience in the field of Single Cell Biology, currently serving as the Director of the Single Cell Biology Lab at The Jackson Laboratory since January 2017, following roles as Interim Director, Associate Director, and Research Scientist. Previous positions include Research Associate at the Genome Institute of Singapore and Research Fellow at A-STAR IMCB, where significant projects on Embryonic Stem Cell systems were conducted in relation to cancer research. Elise's academic background includes a PhD in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, as well as a DEA in Molecular Biology from the same institution and a Maîtrise in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, and Physiology from Aix-Marseille University.
