David joined Jackson EMC in 2017. Previously, he served more than five years in sales, marketing, economic development and government relations roles at Coweta-Fayette EMC. As the Director of Community and Economic Development there, he aggressively supported the efforts of local development authorities to recruit new – and retain existing – industries in the cooperative’s service area.
Today, David is an active member of the Georgia Economic Developers Association, Southern Economic Development Council and the National Rural Economic Developers Association. David is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. He is also a graduate of the BB&T Banking School at Wake Forest University. In addition, David is a graduate of multiple community leadership programs including Leadership Coweta, Leadership Fayette and Leadership Newton.
