Kat Gore is a Library Associate at Jackson County Library Services since June 2023, responsible for providing customer service, assisting patrons with technical support, and managing library materials using the Koha system. Previously, Kat worked with Sonoma County Library in various marketing roles, including Marketing Consultant and Marketing Specialist, focusing on digital campaigns, social media management, and press releases. With freelance experience as a copywriter and editor, Kat has contributed to publications and cannabis businesses. Additional roles include Technical Writer at Point Seven Group and PR & Communications Specialist at Fetzer Vineyards. Kat is pursuing a Master's degree in Library and Information Science from Valdosta State University, having earned a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
