Dr. Angie Perez, PhD, CIH, is a Senior Toxicologist at CTEH® with over 8 years of consulting experience in applied toxicology, exposure assessment, and human health risk assessment. Previous roles include Managing, Supervising, and Senior Health Scientist at Cardno ChemRisk, and a Postdoctoral Scholar at the University of California, San Francisco, where research focused on protein modifications due to mercury exposure. Dr. Perez gained project management experience as a Graduate Research Fellow at Oregon State University, focusing on metal accumulation in agricultural settings and developed a chemical profiling technique to determine food authenticity. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Toxicology and a B.A. cum laude from Oregon State University, supplemented by studies at Willamette University.
