Gail Feigenbaum has held various roles in the art and cultural sector. Gail started their career at the National Gallery of Art in 1982, where they served as a Curator for various exhibition and academic programs, as well as a Research Curator for French painting. Gail then joined the New Orleans Museum of Art in 1997 as the Curator of Paintings. In 2002, they joined the J. Paul Getty Trust as the Associate Director for the Getty Research Institute. Later, they also held the role of Associate Director at the Getty Research Institute.
Gail Feigenbaum attended Evanston Township High School but did not graduate. Gail also attended Oberlin College and Princeton University, but the degree and field of study are unknown.
