Prior experience includes serving as a Sales Professional at TravisMathew Apparel from April 2018 to March 2023, and holding various roles in the golf industry, such as Head Golf Professional at Dye Preserve and First Assistant Golf Professional at Spring Hill Golf Club. Mitch Peterson began a career in the golf sector as an Assistant Golf Professional at multiple clubs, including Schaffer's Mill Golf and Lake Club and Interlachen Country Club. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Marketing from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs, completed in 2010, as well as a high school diploma from Eagan High School.
