Mehmet Gençer is an academic and researcher with extensive experience in business and computer engineering. Currently a Professor at Izmir University of Economics since December 2016, Mehmet also serves as an Associate Professor within the School of Business. Prior roles include an Associate Professor at Istanbul Bilgi University, where responsibilities involved teaching interdisciplinary courses and managing the Department of Computer Engineering. Previous positions span various roles, including Senior Researcher at TUBITAK, Senior Software Developer at VCOM LLC, and Project Manager at WWF-Türkiye. Mehmet holds a PhD in Organization Studies from Istanbul Bilgi University, alongside an MSc and BS in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Eastern Mediterranean University and Bilkent University, respectively.
