Adam Lavecchia is a Research Affiliate at the IZA - Institute of Labor Economics since September 2020 and holds the position of Assistant Professor at McMaster University since January 2019. Previous academic roles include Assistant Professor at the University of Ottawa from July 2017 to December 2018 and Teaching Assistant at the University of Toronto from September 2010 to April 2017, where Adam Lavecchia taught various undergraduate economics courses. Additional experience includes serving as a Financial Services Representative at TD Canada Trust from June 2006 to May 2011, providing financial planning and advising to retail and small business clients. Adam Lavecchia earned a PhD in Economics from the University of Toronto in 2017, a Master of Arts in Economics from the University of Toronto in 2011, and an Honours Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, in Economics and Political Science from York University in 2010.
