Anthony Wainman has a diverse work experience, beginning with a role as Powertrain Engineering at AVL List GmbH in 2011. In 2012, they took on an Engineering Design - Consulting role at Glenhaze Ltd. In 2013, Anthony became a Co Founder at ALPrint Ltd, where they were responsible for engineering, fundraising, customer development and operations. That same year, they also participated in the Global Founders Skills Accelerator at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). In 2015, they became Co-Founder & CTO of PalleTech, where they were involved in building smart connected transportation pallets. Most recently, in 2021, they began working as Engineering Manager at ixlayer.

Anthony Wainman completed a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Mechanical Engineering from Heriot-Watt University from 2009 to 2013. Anthony then went on to do an Erasmus Exchange Year at EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) from 2011 to 2012, studying Mechanical Engineering. Lastly, they obtained a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Industrial Systems, Manufacture and Management from Wolfson College at the University of Cambridge from 2013 to 2014.
