Jonathan Frantz has a diverse work experience, starting in 1997 as a Teacher at Project Education. Jonathan then worked as a Teacher at Willow Run Community Schools from 1999 to 2004. In 2004, they joined Cumberland County Schools, where they held multiple roles, including being a Teacher, District Instructional Technology Facilitator, and K-12 Social Studies Curriculum Coordinator. During their tenure at Cumberland County Schools, they led the district-wide cohort of AP World history teachers, provided professional development on instructional strategies, and served as the Social Studies department chair. Currently, they are working as a Social Studies Curriculum Designer at IXL Learning, starting in 2022.
Jonathan Frantz has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, which they completed between 1991 and 1995. Jonathan later pursued a Master's of Science in Education with a focus on Secondary Social Studies at the University of Pennsylvania from 1995 to 1996. In 2016 and 2017, they obtained a Master of Education (MEd) degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from Gardner-Webb University.
