Andrew Mackenzie is an experienced engineering and technology professional currently serving as Skipper at MackenSea since December 2023, managing full-time world cruising on a Nautitech 44 Catamaran. Prior to this role, Andrew has held significant positions in various organizations, including Senior Director of Applications and Security at Ixia since April 2013 and Director of Engineering for the Wireless Capacity Test Business at JDSU from January 2012 to March 2013, following the acquisition of Dyaptive Systems. As VP of Engineering at Dyaptive Systems from September 2010 to January 2012, Andrew contributed to advancements in testing for Radio Access Network manufacturers. Andrew also founded Imeasure Systems, where innovative solar site assessment tools were developed. With a solid foundation in engineering from RGIT, holding a BSc in Electronic Engineering, Andrew's extensive career spans roles at notable companies including Agilent Technologies and Hewlett-Packard.
