Daniela McElhaney possesses extensive experience in education and mental health, currently serving as the Vice President of Education & Training and Executive Director at Ivybrook Academy since September 2007. Responsibilities include curriculum creation, individualized educational plan development, and extensive communication with families. Previous roles include Assistant Principal and Teacher at Ivybrook Academy, where Daniela focused on fostering safe learning environments and implementing behavior modification techniques. Prior to this, Daniela worked as an LMFTA at McCloud Acosta Clinical Services and held therapist intern positions at Pfeiffer Institute for Marriage and Family Therapy and Carolinas Healthcare System, providing therapeutic services to diverse populations. Education includes a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy/Counseling from Pfeiffer University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
