Lindsey McPheeters has been working in the legal field since 2009. Lindsey began as an Assistant Corporation Counsel for the New York City Law Department in 2009. In 2011, they opened their own law office, the Law Office of Lindsey McPheeters/Tiffee McPheeters, PLLC, where they served as the Owner and Managing Attorney. In 2014, they began working for Round Rock ISD as a Staff Attorney and Interim General Counsel, as well as a Law and Public Safety Teacher. In 2021, they Co-Founded Ivy Podcast Discovery. Currently, they are a Staff Attorney at the Texas Association of School Boards.

Lindsey McPheeters received a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law between 2006 and 2009. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Government and Sociology from The University of Texas at Austin between 2003 and 2005.
