Nick Fritz, PhD

Nick Fritz, PhD has a wide range of work experience beginning in 2005. From 2005-2011, they worked as an Intern and Resident Assistant at the Mayo Clinic and Rancho Solano Campuses, respectively. In 2012, they were a Biomedical Operations Team Lead at Wyle Integrated Science and Engineering Group, where they provided operational support for air quality, water quality, and health fitness hardware. In 2015, they were a Project Manager at LeafLabs LLC, where they managed 10+ engineers and software developers creating firmware for Google's Project Ara modular cellphone. From 2016-2020, they were a Researcher and PhD Candidate at Arizona State University, where they developed a micro-LED array coupled with micro-optics and generated Monte Carlo computer models to investigate the effects and efficacy of optical stimulation in peripheral nerves. Currently, they are a Research and Development Product Manager at ivWatch, LLC.

Nick Fritz, PhD attended Brophy College Preparatory from 2004 to 2008. Nick then went on to Purdue University where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering in 2012. Finally, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Biomedical/Medical Engineering at Arizona State University in 2021.
