Carl Schoeman is an accomplished environmental professional with extensive experience in environmental compliance and management. Currently serving as an Environmental Coordinator at Ivanhoe Mines since August 2023, Carl previously held the position of Senior Manager at Environmental Assurance PTY (Ltd) from July 2013 to July 2023, where responsibilities included business unit management, compliance monitoring, and project coordination. Prior experience includes working as an Environmental Consultant in Training at the North-West University Pro Bono office, providing free environmental consulting services. Carl holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) Honors in Environmental Science, a Bachelor's degree in Environmental and Biological Sciences, Geography, Geology, and a Master of Environmental Management with a focus on Ecological Water Requirements, all from North-West University.
