Theertendra Karanam is an experienced software engineer currently serving as a Principal Software Engineer at Itron, Inc. since February 2022. Prior to this role, Theertendra worked at Cognizant Technology Solutions from July 2010 to February 2022 as an Automation Architect/Test Manager, focusing on designing automation frameworks and conducting DevOps workshops to enhance test automation practices. Earlier career roles included serving as a Sr. QA Engineer at Phoenix Technologies from June 2008 to July 2010, where responsibilities included developing automated scripts and testing various Windows components, and as a Test Engineer II at Spacelabs Healthcare from October 2005 to May 2008. Theertendra began a career in testing as a Project Trainee at GE in 2005, developing tools in Visual Basic 6. Theertendra holds a BTECH degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, earned between 1999 and 2003.
