Gergely Hámos is a Principal Software Engineer at Itron, Inc. since November 2019, where Gergely has led a team focusing on the development of a Water management solution and a data import and manipulation engine. Previously, Gergely held the position of Engineering Manager at Itron, overseeing line management while contributing to engineering efforts. Gergely also served as the domain technical leader for a Gas Safety research project, designing a near-real-time gas leakage detection system. Prior to Itron, Gergely was the Solutions Team Lead at TrueMotion and held various roles at Tresorit, including Software Architect, Senior Software Engineer, and Software Engineer, contributing significantly to backend services and integration projects. Gergely began professional career as a Junior C# Programmer at Kilgray Translation Technologies and has experience in server design and development from roles at GPS-ART Ltd. Gergely holds both Master of Science and Bachelor of Science degrees in Computer Engineering from Budapest University of Technology and Economics.
