Alan De Waal-Smit is an experienced sales and business development professional with a strong background in technology and cloud solutions. Currently serving as Head of Sales at ITR Technology (ManageEngine South Africa) since May 2021, Alan has held roles including Business Development Manager. Prior to this, Alan was with Trend Micro as a Major Account Manager and at Dimension Data Middle East and Africa where responsibilities included Business Development Manager for New Markets and Sales Manager for the Data Centre Business Unit. Alan's earlier experience includes significant roles at Oracle Corporation, Symantec, and Sun Microsystems, demonstrating extensive expertise in account management and strategic sales. Alan holds a Bachelor of Theology from the University of South Africa, completed between 1994 and 1999.
