Hayford Ojo is an experienced journalist and media professional currently serving as the Assistant News Editor at Channel 5 News under ITN since June 2023. Prior to this role, Hayford completed an internship at Lorraine at ITV Studios, contributing to story compilation, scriptwriting, and the planning and pitching of interviewees, along with shadowing various production teams. Previous experiences include work placements at BBC News, various front desk positions, and volunteer work in radio. Hayford holds a Master of Arts in Television Journalism from City, University of London and a Master of Arts in International Relations and Affairs from Middlesex University, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in International Studies and Diplomacy from the University of Benin.
