Kapol Jawale has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. Kapol started their career at Brembo S.p.A. as a Design Engineer from July 2009 to April 2011. Kapol then joined Cummins Emission Solutions Inc. in 2011, where they worked as a Senior Product Engineer, specializing in Adblue dosing pumps for commercial vehicles. Kapol also served as a Technical Specialist - Product Design Engineer, leading the design and development of Euro VI On-highway Emission Systems for DAF trucks. Kapol was responsible for end customer and supplier management, design engineering, and cross-functional collaboration.

In 2018, Kapol joined JCB as a Senior Aftertreatment Engineer. In this role, they managed technical projects and integrated aftertreatment systems with JCB machines. Kapol also conducted engineering reviews, managed customer relationships, and led validation tasks. Additionally, Kapol worked as a Senior Engineer - Propulsion Systems, leading the integration of hydrogen fuel systems with engines and managing technical product evaluations for JCB.

Currently, Kapol is employed at ITM Power as a Technical Lead and Chief Engineer.

Kapol Jawale completed their Master's degree in Automotive Engineering Technology from Vellore Institute of Technology between the years 2013 and 2015. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kavikulguru Institute of Technology and Science- Nagpur University, starting in 2002 and finishing in 2007. Additionally, Kapol has obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 2010, they achieved Level 1 proficiency in German (Speaking and Writing) from Pune University. In 2015, they acquired certifications in Design for Six Sigma from Cummins Inc. and Minitab from Minitab. Continuing their professional development, Kapol obtained certifications in Six Sigma: Green Belt, Strategic Thinking, and Learning Minitab from LinkedIn in 2020. In 2021, they completed the Scrum: The Basics certification, also from LinkedIn. Finally, Kapol earned the Six Sigma: Black Belt certification from LinkedIn in 2023.
