Olivier De Henau, MD has worked in various roles throughout their career. Olivier started as a MD - Intensive Care Unit at Hôpitaux Iris Sud - Iris Ziekenhuizen Zuid in 2006 and worked there until 2012. In 2002, they joined Université libre de Bruxelles as a Research Fellow and also worked as a MD-Clinical Fellow-Internal Medicine until 2008. In 2013, they briefly worked at ECCO - the European CanCer Organisation in the field of Professional Development. Olivier then joined Institut Jules Bordet in 2011 and held two roles: Assistant-Attending Physician-Medical Oncology-Hematology from 2011 to 2013, and Clinical Fellow-Medical Oncology-Hematology from 2013 to 2015. From 2014 to 2016, they worked as a Research Fellow-Ludwig Center for Cancer immunotherapy at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. In 2016, they moved to Bristol-Myers Squibb as Early Clinical Development Lead, where they worked until 2018. Currently, they are serving as a Medical Director at iTeos Therapeutics SA since September 2018. Throughout their career, Olivier De Henau, MD has been involved in pre-clinical research, clinical trials, and various aspects of medical oncology and hematology.
Dr. Olivier De Henau obtained their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from Université libre de Bruxelles in the field of Medicine, completing their education from 1995 to 2002. Olivier also holds additional certifications, including being board-certified in Medical Oncology-Hematology from Belgium in 2013 and board-certified in Internal Medicine from Belgium in 2008. Olivier has obtained various other certifications in areas such as improving communication with cancer patients, good clinical practice, and advanced life support.
