Dr. Marcio Oliveira is a highly experienced Principal Engineer at itemis, with a notable background in software and system architecture. Prior roles include Software Function Responsible at Continental and System Architect at Morpho, where Dr. Oliveira led architectural modernization projects and optimized code and product performance. An academic foundation includes a Ph.D. in Computer Science with a focus on Embedded Systems from both Paderborn University and the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, complemented by significant research contributions, including 14 published papers in top-tier conferences. Previous experience encompasses various roles in research and development at multiple universities and institutions, showcasing expertise in model-driven engineering, performance estimation of embedded systems, and contributions to bioinformatics.
