Oleksiy Danylov has over 15 years of experience in software engineering. From 2005 to 2022, they have held various roles at different companies. In 2005, they started as a Senior Software Developer at the Ministry of the Attorney General, where they designed and developed the PGTED integrated solution to replace the legacy Cobol application. In 2007, they took on a part-time role as a Team Leader/Senior Software Developer at iTeh Solutions, where they designed and developed the full stack of Web (e-Commerce, e-Portal, e-Catalog) solutions for the Slovenian Institute of Standardization. In the same year, they also started as a Senior Software Developer at Systemgroup Consulting Inc (project for Meridian Credit Union), where they designed and developed the Wealth Management Integrated Services Desktop (ISD) application. In 2008, they returned to the Ministry of the Attorney General as a Senior Software Developer, where they designed and developed the Enterprise Reporting Solution. From 2011 to 2014, they worked at Morneau Shepell as a Team Leader/Senior Software Developer, leading the development and assisting in the deployment of public-facing websites. In 2014, they moved to Tesla Motors as a Senior Software Developer/Team Leader, where they led a team of five software engineers to develop a solution for quality assurance and re-manufacturing Warp RCA. In 2019, they started working at Surge Analytics as a Principal Software Engineer/Software Architect, leading a team of software engineers in the development of transportation management and optimization SaaS solution. Oleksiy also founded iTeh Inc in the same year, where they designed, developed, and implemented the cloud-based, highly scalable eCommerce solution and created a sophisticated data integration layer. In 2022, they began working at Microsoft as a Principal Software Engineer.

Oleksiy Danylov obtained a Master degree in Computer Science from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv between 1991 and 1996. Oleksiy also holds several certifications from Microsoft and Oracle, including Microsoft Certified Professional Developer (MCPD) Web Developer (2011), Microsoft Certified Professional Developer (MCPD) Enterprise Application Developer (2011), Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) (2011), Microsoft Certified Solution Developer (MCSD) (2003), Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA) (1999), Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) (1999), and Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) (1999). Oleksiy also holds an Oracle Database: SQL Certified Expert certification from Oracle (2011).
