Marcel Vugts is an experienced professional with a robust background in operations and quality management within the semiconductor and automation sectors. Since September 2016, Marcel has served as the General Manager for ITEC Equipment, focusing on equipment and automation technologies. Prior to this role, Marcel spent over a decade at NXP Semiconductors where responsibilities included Director of Operations for the Mobile Segment and various leadership positions in quality and reliability across multiple regions. Marcelā€™s career began at Philips, where roles ranged from Section Manager to Process Engineer in the dry etch domain. Marcel holds a PhD in Plasma Physics / Surface Physics and an Ir degree in Applied Physics from Eindhoven University of Technology.
