Stephen Groom is a highly experienced educator currently serving as a Biology Teacher at Itchen Sixth Form College since January 2017. In addition to this role, Stephen has been involved with Education in Nature since August 2016 as an Education Resource Development and Consultancy professional. Previously, Stephen held the position of Head of Education at Marwell Wildlife from September 2010 to May 2016, where responsibilities included managing a large team and an education budget while developing resources and delivering sessions to school groups. Prior experience includes teaching science and biology at Holywell High School from September 2005 to July 2010 and managing a team of advisers at Jobcentre Plus from 1997 to 2003. Stephen holds a PGCE in Secondary Science from Bangor University (2004-2005) and a Bachelor's degree in Zoology with Marine Zoology from the same institution (1994-1997).
