Gayathri Subramanyam is a highly experienced professional in the field of chemistry, with a focus on research and product development in personal care. Currently serving as Senior Lead Scientist at ITC Limited since April 2012, Gayathri has held multiple positions including Lead Scientist and Research Scientist, where responsibilities included the translation of research into innovative products, particularly in stabilizing bioactives in skincare formulations. Prior experience includes roles as Research Scientist at The Himalaya Herbal Healthcare and Senior Executive Scientist at Cavinkare Pvt Ltd. Gayathri holds a PhD in Chemistry from the National University of Singapore and an MSc in Chemistry from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, along with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Meenakshi College for Women, Chennai.
