Tega Awaritefe has a diverse work experience spanning across various industries. They are currently working as a Security Operations Center Analyst at ITC Secure. Prior to this, Tega worked as a SOC Analyst at a confidential company, where they provided Level 1 and Level 2 SOC Solutions. Their responsibilities included threat analysis, remediation, and refinement of security tools.

Tega also has experience as a Postgraduate Student in Cyber Security at Coventry University. They have worked as a Door Supervisor at SENTURIAN SECURITY GROUP LIMITED and as a Fibre Engineer at Instalcom Limited.

Furthermore, Tega has held roles with Care Outlook Carers community, including Care Coordinator and Human Resources Recruiter.

Tega Awaritefe completed a Master's degree in Cyber Security at Coventry University from 2020 to 2021. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from Houdegbe North American University Benin, which they attended from 2011 to 2015.

In addition to their formal education, Tega has obtained various certifications. These include the Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate certification from Microsoft in November 2022, the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals certification from Microsoft in June 2022, and three certifications from Qualys: Qualys Certified Specialist - Cloud Agent, Qualys Certified Specialist - Web Application Scanning, and Qualys Certified Specialist - Vulnerability Management, all obtained in May 2022. They also hold the CompTIA Security+ ce Certification, which they attained in April 2023.
