Juan Martín Sotuyo Dodero

Juan Martín Sotuyo Dodero has a diverse and extensive work experience. Juan Martín currently holds the position of Chief Technology Officer at PedidosYa since January 2023.

Before joining PedidosYa, Juan worked at Salesforce as the VP of Engineering from August 2021 to January 2023. In this role, they led MuleSoft Composer, an automation and integration product, and served as the charter lead for Connectivity, delivering connectors for various product lines within the organization.

Prior to Salesforce, Juan was associated with Mercado Libre, where they held two different roles. From March 2019 to August 2021, they served as the Director of Product Development & Chief Mobile Architect, overseeing the development of the in-store payments solution and leading the native checkout flow. From February 2016 to March 2019, they held the position of Senior Product Development Manager & Chief Mobile Architect, supervising mobile app architecture and contributing to the company's growth.

Juan also co-founded and served as the CTO of Monits, a mobile-focused software factory. Juan Martín successfully managed development supervision, employees' training, and project management, and led the R&D program. During their tenure from April 2010 to February 2016, Monits experienced significant growth, becoming one of the largest mobile-focused software factories in Latin America.

Additionally, Juan gained experience as a Senior Developer at Vostu, where they worked from July 2009 to April 2010. Juan Martín was responsible for the development of social game's backend and played a crucial role in building the first ActionScript team and game engine.

Furthermore, Juan worked as an Assistant Professor at ITBA from August 2009 to December 2009 and as a Professor at ITBA since March 2011, showcasing their expertise in the field of academia.

Earlier in their career, Juan worked as a Senior Developer at Sonico from March 2008 to July 2009, focusing on the development of core backend modules and leading the integration and maintenance of OpenSocial.

Lastly, Juan started their career as a Developer at Games and Web from August 2006 to December 2007, gaining foundational experience in the field.

Juan Martín Sotuyo Dodero obtained an Engineer's Degree in Computer Sciences from the Instituto Tecnológico de Buenos Aires, where they studied from 2005 to 2009.
