Jorge Valencia has a diverse work experience in the field of blasting solutions and engineering. Jorge is currently the Director of Blasting Solutions at Itasca Consulting Group, Inc. starting from October 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Drill and Blast Engineer at Nevada Gold Mines from January 2020 to October 2022.

Jorge also has experience in research and teaching as a Researcher and Teaching Assistant at the University of Nevada, Reno from January 2018 to January 2020.

Before that, Jorge co-founded VPO Ingeniería SpA in August 2016, where they served as a Socio Fundador until January 2020, contributing to the company's engineering projects.
