Corrado Causo has a diverse and extensive work experience in the automotive industry. Corrado began their career as a Design Engineer at LVMultiphysics in 2007. Corrado then worked as a Design Engineer at Tecnocad Progetti S.p.A., where they were responsible for designing metal and plastic parts for various FCA vehicles.
In 2011, Causo became an Altran consultant at FCA, taking on roles such as a Development and Design Engineer for plastic parts in air distribution and an A/C pipes design engineer. During this time, they worked closely with packaging and performance engineers to design and release 3D models of components, ensure compliance with regulations and standards, and perform GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis.
Causo joined FCA Fiat Chrysler Automobiles in 2014 as a Senior Development Engineer in the HVAC Module. In this role, they coordinated engineering design activities, collaborated with other engineers to create HVAC requirements, and ensured harmonization of regulations and standardization of components between different regions.
Corrado then joined Tata Motors European Technical Centre in 2016 as an HVAC Principal Engineer, focusing on advanced engineering and developing HVAC systems for electric vehicles, specifically battery cooling.
Causo worked as a Dekra consultant at FPT from 2018 to 2022, where they served as a Program Manager of Pivot Engines Platform, overseeing various projects. Finally, they joined Italdesign in 2022 as a Project Chief, where they work as a project coordinator for Audi on Center Consoles, managing suppliers, coordinating with different Audi departments, and aligning calculations, simulations, and tests for component development maturation.
Corrado Causo attended Politecnico di Torino, where they pursued a degree in mechanical engineering. Corrado completed their studies and obtained a Laurea in mechanical engineering.
