David Shanahan is a seasoned recruitment professional with extensive experience in technology recruitment. Currently serving as Director at IT Search and Selection since October 2016, David leads a knowledge-driven team at an Irish technology recruitment agency. Prior to this, David held the position of Head of Tech Recruitment UK & Ireland at Allen Recruitment Consulting from April 2006 to September 2016, where responsibilities included sourcing for various recruitment challenges. Earlier career roles include IT Recruitment Consultant at NetworkersMSB, Server Support Engineer at Vodafone, Field Engineer at Mercury Software Ltd, and Level 2 Application Support at Bank of Ireland. David holds a BA (Hons) in Management and Information Systems from Dublin Business School and is currently undertaking Inclusive Recruitment Training at the Irish Centre for Diversity.
