Daniel Altbaum

Daniel Altbaum has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Daniel'scareer began in 1994 as the Chief Technology Officer at Ultronics, Inc., where they were responsible for system design and build, network architecture, and staff training. From 2000 onward, Daniel worked at IT Mentor Group, Inc., initially as the President and later as the Lead Instructor. In these roles, they provided enterprise network and cybersecurity consultation to the US Navy and taught various IT training courses, including a highly successful CCNA Bootcamp. Starting in 2011, Daniel joined IT Mentor APPS, specializing in iPhone, Android, HTML5, and iPad app development. In 2015, they became the Director of Information Technology at the Institute for Defense Analyses, overseeing large IT staffs, IT architecture, and strategic partnerships with major vendors. Additionally, Daniel spent time at the Naval Post Graduate School as an Enterprise Network Engineer, leading network integration efforts for projects such as Empire Challenge. Overall, Daniel Altbaum brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in enterprise networks, cybersecurity, IT training, app development, and leadership in the defense and technology sectors.

Daniel Altbaum received their Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Pepperdine University from 1988 to 1991. Daniel later pursued a Master of Science degree in Network Security from Capitol Technology University, although the specific dates are unknown. Finally, they completed their education by earning a Ph.D. in Information Science from the Naval Postgraduate School from 2005 to 2008.
