Roberta Sommaggio is an accomplished academic and researcher with extensive experience in immunology and oncology. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor and Research Fellow at Università degli Studi di Padova since May 2022, Roberta Sommaggio has been a Research Fellow at Istituto Oncologico Veneto IOV - IRCCS since 2011 and completed a postdoctoral role at the same institution. Prior to this, Roberta Sommaggio worked at Università degli Studi di Padova in various postdoctoral capacities from 2011 to 2017, including a fellowship with Fondazione Umberto Veronesi. Educational credentials include a PhD from Universitat de Barcelona, a Master's in Immunology from the same university, and a degree in Medical Biotechnology from Università degli Studi di Padova. Additionally, Roberta Sommaggio gained international experience as a PhD student in Germany and an exchange student at Uppsala University.
