Noah Smith has a strong background in electrical engineering and controls with over a decade of experience. Currently working as a Controls Engineer at Isthmus Engineering and Manufacturing Co-op since July 2015, Noah specializes in developing electrical schematics, PLC programming, HMI programming, and equipment commissioning. Prior experience includes roles as an Electrical Design Engineer at Busse-SJI, where responsibilities involved creating electrical designs aligned with industry standards, and as a Controls Engineer and Project Manager at Subaru of Indiana Automotive. Earlier in their career, Noah served as a Manufacturing Engineer at Carrier Corporation. Noah holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Integrated Manufacturing Technology, both from Purdue University.
