Katja de Gruyter is an experienced energy and climate consultant currently working at Brightspot Climate since July 2020. Previously, Katja held the position of EHS Regulatory Analyst at Nimonik and served as an Environmental Specialist at D&G Envrio-Group, where expertise included conducting Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments according to CSA standards. Katja also interned at the Ministère de l'Environnement et de la Lutte contre les changements climatiques, contributing to climate change mitigation research. Earlier career experience includes roles as a web developer at TD and Aquent. Katja holds a Master of Environment in Environmental Assessment and a Bachelor of Civil Engineering with an Environmental Specialization, both from Concordia University.
