Robert Wagner is an experienced security consultant, currently serving as a Principal Solutions Architect and Solutions Engineer at Strategic Security Advisors since January 2023. Wagner's expertise includes providing strategic cybersecurity advisory services as an Advisory CISO for clients such as Lobo Systems Group and Talentfish, as well as conducting security assessments for Focivity. Involvement with the ISSA Chicago Chapter spans from August 2006 to the present, with roles including Advisory CISO and Board Vice Chairman, highlighting contributions to community outreach and discussions on cybersecurity trends. Previous positions include key advisory roles at Fletch, APIsec, Splunk, Bromium, Qualys, Forsythe, TransUnion, and ABN AMRO, where Wagner has focused on client advocacy, risk management, and security strategy enhancement, while also emphasizing visibility in the InfoSec community through speaking engagements and strategic guidance.
