Yael Gilan has a solid work background in the aerospace and telecommunications industries. From 2013 until the present, they have served as the Head of Procurement at IAI - Israel Aerospace Industries. Prior to that, they worked as a Project Manager at Malam starting in February 2010. In 2009, Yael was responsible for budgetary control at ECI Telecom. At IAI from 2007 to 2009, they held the role of Supplier Manager.

Yael Gilan completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Tel Aviv University from 2011 to 2014. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Industrial Engineering from Ariel University Center of Samaria, graduating in 2008.
