Joanna Walker has work experience in several industries and roles. Joanna started their career at Local Restaurant Group Inc. in 2017 as a Server. In 2018, they joined WSP as an Accounts Payable Administrator, where they excelled in data entry and customer communication. In 2019, Joanna worked as a Project Consultant at Haskayne Consulting Club, collaborating with the Haskayne Students Association on improving student engagement. In the same year, they also worked at IG Wealth Management as an Administrative Assistant, managing client accounts and organizing files. In 2020, Joanna returned to Haskayne Consulting Club as a Project Manager, conducting research for the Women+Power project. Currently, they are employed at ISN as a Senior Account Representative, building relationships and providing account support.

Joanna Walker pursued their education in a Bachelor of Commerce - BCom degree with a focus on Business/Commerce, General. Joanna first attended Medicine Hat College from 2015 to 2017. Later, they transferred to Haskayne School of Business and completed their studies from 2017 to 2020. In addition to their academic achievements, Joanna also obtained various certifications. In 2017, they received the Google Analytics Certification from Google Analytics for Business. Joanna further enhanced their skills with certifications in sales prospecting, inside sales, leading virtual meetings, and essentials of team collaboration from LinkedIn in 2021 and 2022. Moreover, they acquired valuable insights from "Deep Work: Rules for Focused Success in a Distracted World (Blinkist Summary)" and "15 Secrets Successful People Know about Time Management (getAbstract Summary)" through LinkedIn in 2021. Prior to their academic pursuits, they were honored with the Silver Duke of Edinburgh Award in September 2014 from the Duke Of Edinburgh Award Scheme.
