Vinay Rajagopal has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry, with a diverse range of roles and responsibilities. Vinay currently serves as the COO for iSmart, an IT consulting firm providing customized solutions for energy and utility providers. Prior to this, Vinay worked as an independent technology strategy advisor for Global, working on contracts for clients such as the United States Air Force and the Department of State. Before this, they held multiple positions at Happiest Minds Technologies, including Associate Director and Head of Infrastructure Transition, Transformation and PMOaaS, as well as Advisory Consultant and Technology Architect. Vinay started their career at National Semiconductor and has also held positions at Texas Instruments India and Intel, where they were responsible for system administration, project management, and program management. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in areas such as cloud computing, datacenter, networks, storage, security, and business continuity planning. Additionally, they have experience in advising startups and SMEs on technology and strategy challenges.

Vinay Rajagopal received their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from RV College of Engineering in 1999, and a Diploma in Engineering from Govt Polytechnic, Chintamani in 1994. Vinay obtained an MBA in Business Administration and Management from Melbourne Business School in 2011 and became a Certified Life Coach from Certified Coaches Alliance in 2012. Additionally, they have numerous certifications in various areas such as IT, storage, virtualization, and administration, among others.
