Rui Brás Gomes is a highly experienced professional in environmental technology and innovation, currently serving as the Head of the Industrial Technology Approval Group at Isle Utilities since January 2023, where responsibilities include leading iTAG activities and facilitating engagement between industrial water users and technology innovation. Previously, Rui held various roles, including Senior Technology Consultant supporting stakeholders in the water and green tech sectors, Innovation Consultant at Innovayt A/S, and Chief Technology Officer at CUBO Environmental Technologies, a startup focused on water treatment technology. Rui's academic credentials include a PhD in Chemical and Biological Engineering from Universidade do Minho and multiple degrees in Environmental Science and Technology, alongside a significant teaching background in climatology and environmental management.
