Simon Bryant has extensive work experience in the field of public health. Simon began their career as a Consultant in Public Health at the Isle of Wight Council in 2011. After three years, they joined Hampshire County Council in 2014, where they held various roles including Associate Director of Public Health and Director of Public Health. Simon continued their work in public health at the Isle of Wight Council in 2019, where they currently hold the position of Director of Public Health.
Simon Bryant earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Geography from the University of Portsmouth from 1993 to 1996. Simon then pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Health Promotion and Health Education from the University of Southampton, completing it from 1997 to 1998. In 2006 to 2007, Simon attended the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, University of London, where they obtained another MSc in Public Health.
